Hi Drew,
No doubt! I can't remember who made the comment about the home code.
Maybe it was Nigel (njc?)! (They say the mind is the first thing to go,
and I can't remember what the second one was). No rush here, I don't
have a home on the Sherline. Yes, I think it might have been Nigel! I
intend to experiment with home and limit switches on the PCB router,
'tho.
The floppy boot removes the other programs, and made a HUGE improvement
on my development system. I know about hidden and system files all
right, but on the "shop" system (Boots EMC's LILO, and then it loads
Windoz98), the file does not seem to exist on (BDI built dual boot
machine)!
Current thinking is to REPLACE the timer ISR, and then NOBODY can chain
it but me! Then I suspect that TurboCNC or STEP4SD (me) will run better
under a DOS window, or MUCH better under a "MSDOS.SYS DOS boot". A
"shortcut" on the Desktop might then also have a better control on timer
(might make Windoz mad, 'tho!).
