If you go to Westec, Eastec, IMTS, Southtec, or just about any of the
large tool/machine shows, you can pick them up at the suppliers
booths. Check in particular the carbide companies, Iscar,
Kennametal, Carboloy, Sandvik. I have seen them at J&L and MSC type
booths too, but they usually give out decimal charts instead. Which
are also useful tools
The horsepower calculations are kind of off the scale for a Sherline,
but the feeds and speeds data is great for any kind of CNC work.
I talked Wayne Hill into making one in software, with sliders a
couple years ago and we never did anything with it. Maybe if there
is enough interest he would make it available to the group.
