I'm sure you don't have it connected correctly.
Anytime it just rattles back & forth or runs either way regardless.
The diagram I have shows:
For PH series-
A+black
A-yellow
a+orange
a-green
B+red
B-white
b+brown
b-blue

For PK series-
A+black
A-black/white
a+orange/white
a-orange
B+red
B-red/white
b+yellow/white
b-yellow
