er..um.. right ,thats the beauty of it ,its SUPPOSED to look like we changed
but what that act REALY did was to legitimize the American measurements
by fixing them to an independent reference system ,so that an inch officially
became 2.54cm instead of the distance between a bullfrogs eyes (or whatever
it was before) we did'nt ignore it ,we just converted it
