HI...I'm not sure what you mean by frontend... and yes I am using Ability
Systems software, have version 4 Indexer, with the hpgl Ability controller.
The hpgl controller is set up for plt files to use arcs (AA, AR) type
commands, but hard to find a plt driver that supports these commands, but if
one could, the cutting around arcs and curves would be much smoother, and
with the addition of the controller software to auto slow the speed one sets
for the arcs.....


I am also looking for a good, but reasonable priced G-code controller
software, any suggestions?
