Here's a good time for me to vent a peeve. CNCpro is set up so that jog
capability is active anytime a program isn't running. One inadvertant
keystroke and the table is moving at max velocity. My current system has
painfully slow max velocity so it isn't a serious problem yet. It will be a
serious problem on a router table with 500ipm rapids.
I long ago suggested a separate window (er, um, dos box) in CNCpro requiring
an extra keystroke to get into jog mode. Didn't happen.
I consider this reason enough to dump CNCpro as soon as I find a suitable
replacement.
