I've had some cuts from sharp edges on work and attachements, usually
caused by actively hitting them while moving about with hands. I've had
stray strands of hair pulled out by drive belts, but no clumps. Have never
had a pinch or other incident caused by machine tool itself, though once I
did get a finger mashed pretty flat by a small air-powered press. All of us
I suppose have had chip cuts, esp from snarled stringies, which is one
reason I wrote chipbreaking into my turning routines in AxWiz. I also did
twice have small chips in cornea, despite glasses. None of this is peculiar
to CNC though.

later, one of their people got sucked into a radial running a 4" spade bit,
by a chip catching his sleeve. He went around about three times before
somebody hit the BRB, and they hadda take it apart to get him out. Nearly a
deader! Why was he wearing a jacket? The heaters in shop were about 75%
non-working. You'd never see that one coming, but it makes a point!
