CAD, CNC and Windows

Hi All,
I need to get a new computer to control my CNC mill as well as for
AutoCAD drawinf. There is going to be a computer sale and I am
undecided which one would be the most suitable.
1. HP P4, 17" monitor preloaded with MS Windows Home edition.
2. Dell P4 15" monitor preloaded with Windows 98SE
3. Compaq P4 15" monitor preloaded with Windows Home edition.
What is the difference between Windows Home edition and Windows
Professional? What will I miss in the Home edition and will it be
suitable also for office use?
