I would like to make a comment here. I mean this in all kindness and
I don't mean it as a criticism of the person that I am addressing my
comment about.

Jon is a frequent and valuable contributor to this list. I very much
appreciate and value his criticism of ideas. The give and take
involved is absolutely necessary; it is vital to have someone that
can pick out flaws that I may not or cannot see.

Unlike other discourse, there is no rancor in this type of
interchange. It may seem harsh to some but it is needed because
Nature and Truth is a harsh mistress. Either she is satisfied and
ideas work or they are flawed and they don't.

Having an idea is only the initial step. Criticism is what molds the
clay and forms the finished sculpture.

Jon, I hope and depend on you to continue poking holes in my half-
baked ideas. It's a thesis, anti-thesis and synthesis thing.
