I have never used Ahha, but from what I understand it is pretty robust. I do
have DeskWinNC (the Deskam black box) and it is sitting connected to my CAD
computer and nothing else. I am running my mill on EMC and looking at Mach1
(the replacement for Master5 that will have a much higher step rate) as the
windows based controller I want to spend some time with.

I will let you draw your own conclusions.

Subject: AHHA pro vs. Deskam

I have been using AHHA pro CNC contgroller for several years and want
to update to something using Windows. Does anyone have experience or
opinion about using AHHA vs. Deskam black box?

I have tried Linux and don't want to get into EMC unless someone else
is willing to set it up and get me started. My luck with Linux has
not been very good.

Thanks, Joe L.
