I'm a ahha cnc pro user, I've also used other controllers. I would be nice if
I could run back and forth between vector cad/cad (Fred smith the support is
110%) instead of having to reboot.

I was considering to upgrade to artisan but I missed the cutoff date to get
the upgrade. I surprised that the new card didn't come with the software.

AHHA to their credit runs solid. But I just don't like the graphics they use
to show the
gcode since the line size doesn't equal the width of the end mill.

For the price if I had to buy a commercial grade controller AS A MACHINE /
builder RETOFITTER it would be AHHA's package good bang for the buck.

As a hobbyist I would aggree that there are packages out there that run
really well and cost less ( if you build your on driver set up I.E Gecko
Drives) ( Marris thats a plug for you thanks for all the help my servo 10 x
54 mill is almost done).

In the end if it works for you more power to you.

Just my 2 cents

Don

Southbend VH3 with ball screws and soon to be servo driven.
until then its just my Jet 6 x 30 bench knee mill running AHHA and Dan's
Modified 5amp drives
