I am having occasional problems with AHHA "sticking" in position on
some moves. I issue a G01 X,Y and then another say X and it will
move and stop at the end of the first Y move. I have to ESC and then
restart from the next line to continue. If I change the code it will
do the same in other places. This is not a lockup or stepper skip.
I have been using AHHA since 1996 on my homeade Bridgeport conversion
and most of the time no problems. I recently purchased quick-change
tooling and want to use tool lenth compensation and single-step which
only works in the new software.

I thought that it would be nice to run the CAD and controller from
the same operating system. I purchased the latest software upgrade
and then found that it only works with their high end hardware. No
refunds but they will sell me the upgrade hardware for another $400.
I thought that Deskam might be a better way to go.

By the way, anyone need version 4.0 AHHA Artisen software CHEAP? It
will only work with the Artisen hardware NOT the Pro (which they do
not disclose on their web site).

I guess that I will have to continue using AHHA Pro software/hardware
if there is not much to choose from using Windows.

Thanks again for the replies.
