I had a similar problem with Mauch's 5A board and DeskNC. I have changed to
TurboCNC and adjusted the pulse width to get the best repeatibility. It
tracks identically with the Shooting Star DRO and I am thrilled with that.
TurboCNC is free from www.dakeng.com.
