thanks! I saw them for $3.20 ish at another site but thought I was
dreaming, so they are that cheap! good! I will also get 4 new L297
and replace all of them plus the L298 just to be safe. Thanks for the
switch info, thats a great idea and if I recall I think dan told me
that too, ummmmmm.

Sorry to hear that your sparked out on you too! thank for the link.
I'll probably just order them from there but will wait to see what
dan says first (if I should check some other stuff too).
