Confused over Mariss's Calculations

Mariss calculated a power supply current rating for Lloyd's step
motors of approx 9 Amps.

I'm sure that Mariss is correct, so where are my calculations a-miss?
I swear... My Brain sometimes is like a lump of lard!

Given:
Three Shinano motors with a Name Plate rating of "3.5A".
4 windings connected in parallel (2 pair), so that would be 4 times
3.5Amps for a total of 14 Ampers.

One Vexta motor with a Name Plate rating of "3A".
4 windings connected in parallel, so that would be 4 times 3Amps for
a total of 12 Ampers.

Adding these gives 26 Amps.
Multiply by 2/3 for a result of approx. 18 Amp total current draw
from power supply.

Given this, I would set the Gecko Drives for the Shinano motors to 7
Amps., and 6 Amps for the Vexta.
