Why? I've milled stainless with no problem and there are people
regularly making parts in titanium using Taigs? All you have to do is
not try and use large tool sizes and commercial type feeds. It does
take some juggling sometimes, to get the right speed & feed and
coolant really helps. As long as you make these allowances there's no
reason you can't use a small mill.

I would think though that 60oz is pretty useless for anything other
than an engraver on direct drive. The old Taig mill supplied steppers
were 140oz and they've now upgraded to 200oz.
