Only problem with this solution is that on the BDI the G92 offsets are not
always persistent. That is the reason I do not use it and stick with the old
RH 5.2 install instead. The other way to do it is on manual mode right click
on the display coordinate for the axis and enter the desired position into
the box. It is actually doing a G92 so you do have the same persistence
issues. Keep spare shorts handy for the first time it decides to cancel the
offset and return to the original 0. Happened to me twice with an 8"
slotting blade diving for the table and it was rapidly BDI out of my shop.
