Doug,
My favorite protector is a two pole knife switch and two 1/4 amp fuses
followed by two 150V mov's to ground. A pair of picosec transient
voltage suppresion diodes would be a good addition too. Digikey p/n
P6KE150CACT-ND at a $1.08 ea will do nicely. I have seen them in action.
Saved my system from a very close strike. Must be used in conjuction
with fuses. Rich Dean
