why would i spend all the time to convert the machine
and then disassemble it and sell it??? because i may
decide to build a large gantry mill and use the
components. thats the whole reason for not wanting to
also modify the ballscrew, as it is not machined at
the far end.
by capturing the far end of the screw, i assume you
mean with a mounted bearing of some sort. as i just
stated, its not machined an that end.
