There are THREE pieces of software (sometimes several are combined into one
group). There is CAD software for drawing your parts, there is CAM software
for creating the G-code from the drawing, and there is a controller program
for converting the G-code into machine movements.

AutoCAD is CAD only software, Vector and Dolphin are combined CAD and CAM,
EMC is a controller program.
