Re: BDI install disk for EMC

That would be possible if everyone used the identical
hardware. The video seems to be the only real wildcard.

Why can't someone with Linux and EMC running on a machine use a disk
mirroring program like drive image to clone their disk to a CD, and copy
it?
Then anyone could build up a machine with the right video card, etc. for a
few hundred dollars and boot from the CD and image the CD onto their hard
drive? Or is the image software requiring to run under windows? I don't
think so, since it is able to run on a clean machine and move whole system
back into it from a backup drive...
