HI everyone,

I have recently designed a new board based on the L297,L278.

At present its still on the drawing board, ( to be made and tested)

If it works ok it will run 80 volts at 30 amps or more.

In my search for ideas I found one person who had interfaced the L297 to a
special Signetics driver capable of running at 600Volts at 50 amps.
This apparently is a commercial design.

I failed to follow this route as the driver chips are only available in
large quantities, so I used Fets instead.

Once we have one running successfully the plan is to publish the circuit so
anyone can use it.
