You do know that Mach1 (windows control) is reportedly sending out
25000 or so pulses from the parallel port, Indexer LPT ("Windows" in

another excellent windows control) can run as high as 35000.....
I have not been able to fire up MACH 1 yet, but I can tell you my Beta
versions of V2 Flashcut certainly do not have any "jitter" in the pulse
train !
For the fellows who are a bit strapped for cash and might just want to
get by with one computer, I have run some 20-30K lines of test code with
Flashcut *While* on the internet downloading, running Mpegs, Checking
Mail, Editing Code and Drawing my next job. Not sure why I'd want
anything else.
Things are definately changing in the low budget (around $1k and under)
