Thanks for the excellent outline of a typical CAD_CAM... system. I know,
we've been through these issues before but I wanted to remind us of them

Trend? Who you readin'? I'd say that both MS-Windows and Dos are going
to be with us for a while yet.<g>

Thanks for the disclosure. We commercial types, and those that shill for
them, should all do this!

I did have a problem with these handwheels on a recent Sherline demo.
I'd taken quite a bit of effort to establish a repeatable home routine
without home switches so that I'd have good soft limits and know where
my work holding stop was. Before long, the guy grabbed a wheel and
reefed it around a ways. So much for planning ahead! I do like the
laser cut dials.
