Flexible cable and shielding

Mendelson Electronics (http://www.meci.com) has a pretty wide variety of
Belden Infnity industrial flex cable as surplus. Just look for "Industrial
Control Wire" in their wire/cable section. I bought a bunch of 20ga
4-conductor for $0.16/ft. It's a 70xx series, rated for 4 million flexes.

What is the "mic-cable shield" you mentioned, JanRwl? I've never heard of it.
