There's no getting away form the physics of it. If the transformer
can supply a load of 24 V at 10A on 220, you can't get the same
240Watt if you only use half the primary at 110V. Easier said than
done, run it at 110V and start loading the secondary, possibly with
series/parallel 12V car head lamps and read the secondary voltage;
should be 24 volts at 10 amps.
Probably not worth the trouble, I'd send them back and go to another
supplier.
