The magnetizing equipment is a serious piece of machinery. The
voltage meters read in kilovolts, the ammeters in dozens of amps. The
coil is water cooled. The ceiling had holes from when the previous
operator had used it as their own personal magnetic rail gun to
launch nails for entertainment.
