change, buy a surplus PLC on E-bay and do the ladder logic thing. I used a
Keyence KV PLC that I got with software for $50 used. The KV has relay
outputs that can drive the hydraulic solenoids directly.(with adequate
snubbing)
Before I had the PLC working, I built some real relay logic to operate the
spindle direction and gear change stuff. Since it worked so well, I doubt
I'll change the spindle functions over to the PLC. I'd be glad to send you
a copy of my wiring if you want. Do you have a Fanuc spindle drive on your
10VC?
