On my Drill/Mill CNC I always home the machine, then set a coordanant
offset (G54) to my parts 0,0,0. I have lost my position and re-homed
before. Just to be sure I checked my G54 offset. I have always been
within .002 from my setting. I am using cheap Radio Shack switches.
