Z0=center of rotation, A axis rotates around X axis.

G00 X0.0 Z3.5 A0
G01 Z1.5 (Position bit at cut depth)
G01 X-36.0 A6480.0 (Cut first Flute 2" pitch 18*360=6480 degrees)
G91 (incremental mode)
Z 2.0
A90
G90 (absolute mode)
G01 Z1.5
G01 X0 A-6480.0

Repeat for 2 more flutes.
Vary number of flutes based on diameter and radius of bit.

If you want bulges, accurate control of taper, V-tip engraving on
complex surfaces or complex surface carving (like the lighthouse),non
symmetric parts too, like 1/2 a baseball bat, use a Cad-Cam that
supports rotary beyond engraving on cylinder. Like Vector Cam ;-)
