Re: A "simple" Hexapod project

Dan - My impression is that the simple kinematics routine for a xyz
machine is replaced my a much more complex hexapod routine that must
be customized for the geometry in a specific hexapod. That done, it
will move a tool fine in xyz. However, to take advantage of the
hexapod's ability to tilt the tool you need a CAM program that can
generate generate 5 axis code, which is where the big bucks are
needed. I hope someone will correct me if I have it wrong.
