Re: A "simple" Hexapod project

From the research I've done on this, I think I could modify the
software functions I wrote for my own 5-axis machines to suit a
hexapod or other parallel kinematic type machine. It could output
axis coordinates (ie. strut lengths for a hexapod) or actual 5 axis
tool coordinates.
Mach2 would handle the motion control if you can accept the DROs
showing the axis coordinates instead of the actual tool coordinates,
otherwise EMC would be configured to your machine.
