Re: A "simple" Hexapod project - Just made a tool path

I downloaded Gmax and got the CNC tool kit from Rab and have
sucessfully created a 5 axis tool path. Need a few more goes with
different objects but it seems pretty cool and not all that
difficult. As Rab said a bit more documentation (possibly in the
form of examples) and it is pretty easy to use. That said I can't
draw anything in Gmax yet.

If there are any programmers out there stuck for a project why not
make a similar toolbox of Rhino3D either as a script or a plug in.

Doing CAM in Rhino would be a cheap way for folks to get into 3D, 4D
and 5D machining. As it happens I am pretty sure it wil be straight
forward enough to export from Rhino as DXF and import into Gmax whixh
is free.
