Hi Jeff:
Check to make sure your IGES import has actually brought arcs in.
IGES will often bring geometry in as splines, even when it was originally
constructed from arcs.
I had this experience bringing Solidworks files into Mastercam.
Now that I bring them in as Parasolid files, the arcs come in as arcs!!!
If you are stuck with IGES, and if you are getting splines in rather than
arcs, you need to reconstruct the arcs by dropping 3 points on the spline
and fitting an arc through them.
Make sure the arc still chains with the rest of the geometry (you might have
to dump or hide the splines to do so.)
