as running DOS programs on any of the NT based operating systems
(Windows NT, 2000, XP), you can't. It is not just a timing issue, but
the fact that these systems will not allow direct hardware access by the
programs. So, they error and fail when they try to write to the parallel
port. If you want to use any of these operating systems to drive a
machine you have to use a controller program that is designed to work in
them. Your choices are Mach1 or 2, Flashcut, DeskCNC.
