Fred, thank you for that very clear reply.
Couple more points. Can G43 mimic the G44 command with a negative
sign?
Although you state G44 isn't standard it is in the UK and Europe.
Here we are taught to set the work top face at Z zero and all
negative moves are into the work. No flames please it's just the way
we are taught for safety reasons. Any Z 0.0 move will go home and not
down to the bed surface.
Last point, are you [ or presumably Carl? ] selling to the UK or do
you have an agent here?
