Shopbots have traditionally been user constructed wooden tables.
They just started to sell metal ones in the last couple of years.
There should be plans on their web site for do it yourself
construction. They may also have the metal plans there as well.

As I recall you could get a 4x8 sheet sized, metal frame welded up
for about $400. Painting was extra.
