HDPE and Teflon is very difficult bond to anything.
Dealing with these materials everyday, only adhesive
that seems to work is Loctite 406. For HDPE, use only
406. But for teflon, you must apply primer 7011 very
small amounts. Too much primer will leave residue and
will weaken the bond. Surface preparation is very
important, so make sure to rough up the surface by
media blasting if possible and CLEAN with alcohol to
remove all loose particles and oil from bonding
surface. The bond will require about good 8 to 10
hours for strong bond with this instant adhesive.
