Oh, ok. So you are gearing UP the motor.
Then you would be at
750.2 x 40/2.38= 12608 in oz
yielding
12608/.625= 20173 oz = 20173/16 = 1261 lbf.
If I am understanding you want to gear UP the motor
2.38 before a 40:1 gear DOWN to the rack pinion.
That seems pretty good- I misunderstood your gear ratio.
You might just consider a larger rack pinion to get you there
rather than a gear-up though. (increase radius by 2.38)
What is your motor inertia? It is good to check inertia ratio
as well.
