These are great when the geometry is being created by a beam of electrons
in a CRT, and a computer is just fast enough to spit out the endpoints.
A machine tool moves at 1/100,000 th of that speed (hundreds of milliseconds
per vector, not microseconds). The cost, complexity, inaccuracy and the
need to constantly tune such analog circuitry makes it wildly impractical
for a machine motion system.
