EMC-BDI is not my friend....

Well guys, I've spent tons of time downloading and installing every
different BDI released... (five versions I've gone through....)
I've even attempted install of BDI-Live rev.-23 (newest version)..
They are all great versions and BDI-Live seems so automated for its small
packaged format that seems to only be installed in memory, BUT.... Theres
always a butt..
It seems not one of these people have considered updating video drivers...
Maybe I'm missing something and there is a RPM of drivers that I need???
SUSE-Linux installs great and Automatically configures my video (which is an
On-the-Motherboard VIA video) as a Trident Cyberblade/i1 with resolution of
1280x1024 and Color Depth of 16bit w/ no 3D Accel. This driver works
great! I wish there was a way of importing it into Redhat 7.2 or any of
the versions of EMC, but I cant find it and dont know what file to configure
if I do find it. What would I configure so that Xconfigurator see's it?
I have considered installing EMC on SUSE but it seems sort of a rough road
of debugging for this Noob to Linux to take on. If there was a How To out
there I would jump on it in a heartbeat...
I have two alternatives, my 2gig ASUS system as the EMC platform which I
know would work flawlessly, or Jon Elson's board that would utilize only one
Parallel port for full Bridgeport control.
I have an EPIA Mini-ITX 933Mhz board with 1 PCI slot available. This is
being used by a two port Parallel card. So if I can just get the video
working I'll be set.
Anyone have any ideas on this????
