FAILLING MEMORY ON MY CNC LATHE

Hi,

Is it possiable to copy the programing from an EPROM and save
it to an CD? I think my EPROM chips ARE SLOWING PASSING ON in my DYNA
3000 LATHE. The computer forgets a line,or a byte, then the lathe
just stops,it don't what to do next. A friend told me to replace the
EPROM's, but how do I reinstall the program in the chips? If the
27256 chips are bad in the lathe now, will I pass a bad program on
the new chips? Any insight will be helpfull.
