I havn't watched this whole thread so I hope I'm not repeating
someting. It may be possible that you EPROM chips just need to be
reseated (pulled out and then plugged back in). The pins can oxidize
and cause random problems. Same thing goes with any connectors on
the board. Try reseating everything.
