I found it helpful to put a few LEDs in the circuit to enable me to
know how the circuit is doing, a bipolar red/green one across the
motor coil leads. I also found the chopper current sense to be fairly
sensitive to spikes, so I added some optional filtering in the current
feedback loop from the sense resistor to the op amp. Those were
useful as well. I also added some power led indicators where needed.
Barely fit on the 3 by 4 inch single sided layout I used, but did fit.
