I am using a pic breadboard kit I picked up about a year ago to learn pic
programming .
http://www.matrixmultimedia.co.uk/ the low level programming I can handle
but hi level I have problem with so I used there flow code programming but I
think the output routine multiplexes the output because the stepper motors
still can be spun by hand while it is stepping. I need to check it with a
scope but other than that I have it working. auto up down control from the
arc. and can adjust stepping frequency. I picked up a used Astron regulator
board that I think I will use for the power supply the regulator can adjust
voltage and current . I may jest make the edm so I can use an external
supply first to work out bugs and see how big a power supply I need.
