screws, preloaded and not, precision-ground and "just rolled thread".

THK is very fine stuff, if you have the RIGHT type for what you want to do.
Another "old standard" is Thomson Linear Bearings and round ways. They
manufacture all kinds and several types, these days. In all cases, bring money!
