Jon, I can only say that the manual says that the encoders use the
time proven gage-wheel principle; wheel that runs on bed and sadle
and even talks of adjusting..model M250B...not improbable chip-skip
but they are sealed.
Now I have found that the motors are servo rated at 280 in-oz max
continuous torque..Has what >looks< like an encoder on end..if it is
an encoder couldn't it serve to account/correct for backlash, ect?
Say it is a tachometer, is there a way to tell? What would the
benifit be or not? Seb.
