The only DRO that uses a rotary encoder is the Shooting Star Digital Unit
(advertized in HSM, and MW, and I think LS). My retrofit (I e-mailed DXF &
DWG files of it to someone on this list last year) helps to keep the gear
rack/encoder free of swarf. I guess I could post it somewhere convenient,
but where is best?
