Re: PCB Routing - Dremel

Hello,

Dremel tools have a rubber sleeve around the front bearing. great for
hand-held use. This presents problems when the tool is used in a
fixed mounting as you would have with a CNC setup. Additionally, the
tools are not designed for continuous operation, though they do seem
to hold up okay for many users. But that rubber sleeve WILL be
affected by the heat of continuous use; become softer, and the tip
will flex more. If the pcb's you're cutting are not fine pitch--or if
your machine is lower-end, accuracy wise-- you may not notice these
effects. But they ARE present...

Hope this helps,

Ballendo
