That would be in the CMOS setup on the MB you're using -- as in "Press <del>
to go into setup" that's displayed when you first power up, as opposed to
stuff you're trying to boot -- this is before it even starts to load stuff
off the HD. That stuff makes sense for laptops and such where you're
concerned about battery life, but seems to be in the BIOS of all my MBs
here, and I *always* disable it completely.
